Synopsis[]
An activist claims that anti-American propaganda can be heard on Carmine's hit record—if it plays in reverse.
Storyline[]
Attempting to become a singer, Carmine writes & records a very catchy dance song that catches fire but the lyrics burn the ears of 1960s, almost militant, censorship. Carmine writes and records a dance song called "Do The Hotfoot".
A TV star named "Bobby Botts" (guest star Jay Leno) likes what he hears but advises Carmine to change the title to the self-promoting "Do The Carmine". After the change,he performs the song on the star's show. The show is seen and the record heard by self- proclaimed censor "Dr. Knibble". He basically accuses Carmine of indecency,by what he "thinks" he hears when the recording is played backwards. Is Carmine's career over before it's begun?
