Fonzie's Getting Married was the 13th episode in the second season of Happy Days, and also, the 29th overall episode of the series. Co-written by Lowell Ganz and Mark Rothman, the episode, directed by Jerry Paris, first aired on ABC-TV on January 14, 1975.

Howard Cunningham suspects that Fonzie's fiancée, Maureen, is really "The Lone Stripper", an exotic, masked dancer with a distinctive laugh.
StorylineEdit
In the first episode shot before a live audience, Fonzie suddenly announces that he is getting married, and Howard recognizes the girl as a stripper he saw at a hardware convention in Chicago, which he also recognized by her weird laugh when he tells a joke at table while having dinner with she and Fonzie, who thought it a good idea to introduce her to his "surrogate family" by bringing her by the Cunningham home in the first place.
Fonzie is in disbelief in that the girl whom he thought was a wholesome virgin was a feature dancer until Richie, who found an article in the newspaper of her headlining at a local strip joint, showed it to him, as he wanted Richie and Howard to accompany him to the club; when Maureen, whose alias is "The Lone Stripper" is introduced, he storms the stage, not willing to wait to see if its really her, as "The Lone Stripper" always takes her mask off at the end of her performance.
When Howard and Richie try to console Fonzie, he reveals that he didn't care about her job, and that he's still in love with Maureen regardless; when Howard and Richie leave the two to talk, Maureen, embarrassed about Fonzie finding out about her career, gives him back the engagement ring he bought for her, saying she can't marry him.
