"Life is More Important Than Show Business" was the fifteenth episode in Season 10 of Happy Days, also the 226th overall episode in the series. Written by Paula A. Roth, the episode, directed by Jerry Paris, originally aired on ABC-TV on January 25, 1983.
Synopsis[]
Fonzie gets a record producer interested in Joanie and Chachi's music, but he's less excited about their band.
Storyline[]
Joanie and Chachi agree to work towards a common goal with their squabbling band members after Fonzie gets them a chance at a record contract; but what will they do when the record company agent tells them that the contract is only for the two of them and not the rest of the band?
- Special guest stars: Scott Baio as Chachi Arcola and Erin Moran as Joanie Cunningham, as well as members of the cast of Joanie Loves Chachi; including Derrel Maury, Winifred Freedman and Robert Pierce.
- Side note: The logo of the fictitious "Holstein Records" seen in the episode is a knockoff of RCA Victor's famous Nipper the dog logo, which featured a Holstein cow staring into a gramophone. Also, Anson Williams who plays the role of Potsie Weber, Linda Purl who plyas Ashley Pfister, both are absent from this episode.
