Plot summary[]

In Part 2 of the two-episode season opener, "Mork in Wonderland." Mork shrinks to the point of "disappearing" and Mindy cries, thinking he's dead. Mork then finds himself going down a "space warp" and then finds himself on the planet Mirth in a parallel universe, where nature comes in different colors, with animals wearing clothes and counterparts of Mindy, Exidor, and Mr. Bickley.

Three oddballs are introduced, with Jerry Looney (Jeremy Vernon) channeling Jerry Lewis, Danny St. Tommy (Johnny Haymer) doing Danny Thomas, and Bob Faith (Ronnie Schell) working as a go-betweens for Mindy's counterpart, Mandy. When she first meets Mork, she wonders if he's a spy for a tyrannical king, Exidor's counterpart, Exidon, whose party outlawed humor 5 years earlier. His financial adviser is Mr. Bickley's counterpart, Marvin the Evil, who welcomes Mork as the new court serious (as opposed to jester), trying out his future Popeye voice.

Mandy soon finds herself attracted to Mork and she even kisses him, but during the battle against Exidon, Mandy is mortally wounded, but she thanks Mork for helping her free her people and tells him how lucky Mindy is to have him. She then dies in Mork's arms and Mork is devastated.

The cold medicine wears off, and Mork's clothes start tearing and he starts growing. At first, Mork doesn't want to leave, but he then finds himself going back up the "space warp" and back to Earth. Mindy is overjoyed, and she tells Mork he's been gone for 3 days, and he tells her he was in a parallel universe and she died. He also tells her he hopes he leaves before she does, because he couldn't bear to lose her twice.

The episode concludes with another report for Mork to Orson.
