"The Ballad of Joanie and Chachi" is the second episode of the eleventh season of Happy Days, also the 235th overall episode in the series. Written by Richard Gurman, the episode, which was directed by Jerry Paris, first aired on ABC-TV on October 4, 1983.

Synopsis[]

Chachi strikes out when Joanie decides to attend class instead of his softball game.

Storyline[]

As Chachi becomes frustrated because Joanie's busy schedule limits her time with him, she decides a break up is the solution to their difficulties but Chachi is ready to make their relationship permanent and get married instead.

  • Anson Williams (Potsie Weber) and Ted McGinley (Roger Phillips) do not appear in this episode.
