Winifred Freedman (born July 23, 1957) is an American actress and singer primarily known for her roles in television. She plays the part of Annette Mastorelli, cousin to Chachi Arcola and the daughter of Rico Mastorelli, Chachi's uncle, who manages he and Joanie and the band that they sing lead vocals for in Chicago on Joanie Loves Chachi. She also makes a guest appearance as Annette in the Season 10 episode of Happy Days titled "Life is More Important Than Show Business" (episode #15).
Career[]
After the Joanie Loves Chachi series ended, Winifred, who was born and raised in Granite City, IL, was a regular on the equally short-lived syndicated soap opera Rituals as Patty DuPont, a plain-Jane (but very hard working) boarding school student who later became the personal assistant to Taylor Chapin (Jo Ann Pflug; Tina Louise) and would later marry a man named Bernhard Kraus (Cameron Smith).
Between 1986 and 1989, Winifred appeared in six episodes of the hit ABC-TV sitcom Mr. Belvedere as Kevin's classmate Wendy. In 1988, she played a woman in a dating service video in You Can't Hurry Love, and Stephanie, the unfortunate driving school student in The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! (1988).
Her other film credits include roles in The Last American Virgin (1982), My Man Adam (1985), Reform School Girls (1986), Hero and the Terror (1988), The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989), The Shrink Is In (2001) and Evolution (2001).
Personal life[]
Freedman is married to Scott Harlan and continues to appear on television.
